5 Things For My October To Do List

5 Things For My October To Do List

Ooh hello Autumn my old friend – man oh man have I been looking forward to seeing you. The air is getting crisper by the day and the trees are a beautiful mix of green and burnt orange as the leaves begin to turn. It’s officially time to embrace the new season and I for one can’t wait for conker hunting, pumpkin picking and cosy jumpers galore. Today I’m sharing five things for my October to do list.

Content Is Key | Hello motivation, where have you been hiding? After being stuck in a rut for so long, it’s so nice to finally feel like I have a (slight) grasp on my life. In fact, I seem to have ideas coming out of my ears at the minute and I can’t wait to kick these plans into action. Watch this space!

Plan Autumnal Adventures | Looking back on last year, I don’t feel like I made the most of Autumn. So this year I really want to make sure that I up the anti. I’m thinking about going on plenty of walks, coffee shop dates (mine’s a hot chocolate or a chai latte ta) and visiting a pumpkin patch. I’ve never been and I’m desperate to go!

Seasonal Home Updates | The time has come to say goodbye to the botanical print cushions (okay it’s not a goodbye it’s a see you soon) and bring in some new seasonal updates. My plan is to introduce some more Mongolian fur cushions, velvet and a few pops of mustard. The candles will be coming out in full force and if you need me, you’ll find me in a den of cosy blankets.

Start Saving | Okay I admit, saving isn’t my strong point. But in all honesty, living in (or around) London is tough and most of the time, there’s not a lot left once those peaky things like rent and bills have been dealt with (don’t even get me started on the price of my train fare). But with Christmas drawing ever closer, I need to give myself a bit of a kick up the backside and put some pennies in the pot. Time to tighten those purse strings I think!

Read More | I’ve always loved nothing more than getting lost in a good old book but for some reason I never seem to find the time to do it. So this month I’m setting my sights on some me time and plan to make my way through a book or two. Do you have any recommendations?
